AUBOCASSA

Manacor

AUBOCASSA, based on tradition, is committed to technological innovation in order to optimize the quality of its products, preserving the ancestral qualities of the Arbequina olive variety. Its objective is to transmit the sensations of the landscape of the estate and the island of Mallorca. AUBOCASSA was the first olive oil of the new generation of Spanish olive oils that came into the market in December 1998, marking a before and after in the concept of olive oil. It was the first plantation for commercial purposes in the Pla Mallorquín and served as a catalyst for the development of cultivation in the area. The farm is located in Mallorca, in the municipality of Manacor, in the east of the island. It is an ancient estate, already mentioned in documents from the 12th century. To the history that permeates its walls is added, contrasting without breaking, the steel of the new machinery, a mix between the walls of the 12th century and the latest technology of the 21st century. This integration can be seen with the construction of the new oil mill, located within one of the old buildings on the property. The passage of time has left evidence of the different crops that have shaped the Mallorcan countryside. The soils are limestone, formed by a layer of horizontal slabs that contain accumulations of fertile clays. The exquisiteness of AUBOCASSA and L’AMO AUBOCASSA oils requires that all the olives be picked from the tree, without a single one having touched the ground, requiring great attention to the harvesting method. It must be a mechanical system that allows the olives to be harvested at the optimal time, without falls, and to take them to the oil mill in the shortest possible time.
